Ali Herbert is potter based in Lyme Regis, she produces beautiful and simple collections for daily use. All of her pieces are hand made and trimmed on the potters wheel giving time to emphasise calm, simplicity, refinement and order. 

Ali chooses materials and glazes that emphasise the tactility of the clay, and works with traditional blends from France and Cornwall. The pots are fired in a gas kiln which produces stoneware with an earthy palette and freckled with iron spots,  rich in colour and with Each one bearing the mark of the firing process. 

Please note that no pieces are the same - as alike as twins but as unique as each other.
